What is it about thin crust pizzas and Minnesotans? Yellow Mushroom Pizza only serves thin crust pizzas. They are really good, but if you want something regular or thick crust, go elsewhere!
I have been a customer for year's at yelow mushroom and 95% of the time i am satisfied with there pizza, but last night i ordered 2 pizza's and i wanted extra sauce on both and asked if they could pull them out a little early and i get home and had about 2 piece's frrom each pizza and they were both over cooked and had no flavor !! Called to let them no how my pizza's were made and the guy said we do not make half baked pizza's on Thursday's !!! Was not looking for a half baked pizza and if they cannot pull a little early to satisfy the customer, then the lady that took my order should have let me no that !!! The guy i talked to said he would call me back later and never heard back from him !!! So i paid $18.00 for 4 piece's of pizza and the rest went into the garbage !!! How does asking for a under cooked pizza get burnt ? Do not think i will go back, since they cannot call me back !!!
Always great pizza, but extremely poor service the last time we were there.
We were expecting great pizza with all the great ratings...we were very disappointed. The restaurant was very short staffed and pizza was edible, but nothing to come back for. The toppings were minimal and flavor was lacking. The young man working there greeted us, took our order, delivered food, bussed the tables... commendable employee! He apologized for the lack of staff and got a well deserved large tip. I'm puzzled how the food got such good reviews?!
Couldn't wait to try... unfortunately it wasn't as good as I expected. Hardly no sauce, which the little that was on the pizza seemed good, a smidge of cheese, the thin crust would have been good if it was cooked... fresh vegetables that I can say were good... won't stop again:(
Only 1/2 of the cheese bread ordered with our pizza didn't arrive until 10+ minutes after we got our pizza. After waiting another 10-15 minutes we left w/o it coming to the table. We were still charged for it and had to argue with the manager about it.
